Community Health Alumni Scholarship Fund
Program Support Funds
Supported through the Supervised Teaching of Physical Activity/Nutrition Fund, iPALS (Illinois Physical Activity and Life Skills) connects research-educators and grade school children in an innovative summer program focused on developing an understanding and appreciation for physical education, nutrition, academic enrichment and socio-emotional learning. The iPALs program was created to be accessible to all families, so donor gifts are crucial to maintaining the operating budget of the program.
Adult/Lifetime Fitness Program
The Lifetime Fitness Program is a community-based fitness program for older adults (55+), that is managed by the Department of Health & Kinesiology. The program’s primary emphasis is to provide opportunities for structured group or individualized fitness activities that links researchers with subjects for study of selected aspects of physical activity and health for adults.
